Board Of Directors Meeting Minutes. January 27th, 2001

Members Present: Ailanthus, Castings, and Obrasin

Also Present: Azero and D'Arque of Sanctuary Hill who will be speaking as a representative of his land.

Castings presented a contract for use to sign other groups underneath Wavehaven. Kingdom DragonSpine has reviewed and approved already.

Vote was held for Sanctuary Hill to obey completely and only Castings:

0 in favor, 3 opposed

Vote to accept the contract:

3 in favor, 0 opposed.

D'Arque is totally in favor of the contract and is fully in favor of signing under WaveHaven.

D'Arque also brought up a few reasons why SH wants to be under WH: When members of SH move away and get out of school, they may still want to play amtgard, and they can take their experience to other lands. Also, he brought up that SH wants to exist as an official land for official recognition. Most of the populace of SH cannot make the time to come to WH battlegames, and/or feel that their skill is vastly outmatched against the iron-handed supremacy that is WaveHaven.

The Board of Directors insist that SH will play by the handbook whenever an outlander is present in playing their games. Ex: If a member of WH shows up to play with SH, both the outlander and all members of SH will play without house rules, will play by the strict rules set in the rulebook of Amtgard.

WH is eager to help SH with the rules set in the contract.

Azero believes that SH is capable of being an official chapter once they fix some problems with their upper-level management. Like having complete, regular elections and that people who are elected will fulfil their duty.

Obrasin reports that PO Boxes at Mailboxews etc. are too expensive, and he will look into the United States Postal Service soon.
