BOD Minutes from Sep 3rd, 2003

Meeting called to order

Robbie motioned to remove Ted from the BOD and the office of Treasurer. It has become obvious that he will not be retirning to the game anytime soon, and therefore should be replaced. Chrstine seconded the motion. 4 for, no against. Konrad said we will elect a new member at the next Althing.

Robbie asked for a better roadmap for crown quals. Specifically: clarifications about tourneys and methods. Chrstine brought up the idea of re-writing the Corpora so it more Wavehaven oriented. Discussion was made about waiting until we confederate, or asking other local lands to offer advice. General concensus was to get a look at Crimson Wood this coming weekend to see if we wanted to have their input at the moment.

Konrad also brought up the idea of officially thanking Jamie's mom for her effort in helping with non-profit status. Christine suggested a card. Robbie will get the card.

Chrisitne brought up the bank account. The BOD decided to open a business account, even though it will cost money per month, so that we will have an account in WH's name, instead of a person's name.

More discussion was made of a roadmap for the BOD officers. It seems that new BOd members will function better when given clear instructions on how to do their job. It was generally decided to start working on this. Further discussion on rewriting the Corpora. It was decided that a 3 person committee would re-write it. The comittee will present the finished product to the BOD for a line item approval. The BOd will present to the land for a dues paid yea or nay vote. Discussion was also made of creating "How-to" binders for each office in the Monarchy to along with this. The current Monarchy will set the precedent for following Monarchies to use. Christine, Robbie, and Konrad will form the committee with 1 dues paid advisor to help add input. The first meeting will be Tuesday the 16th at Round Table Pizza.
